Our unit is situated directly on the beach in the only resort complex on the Alabama Gulf Coast, the world-class Gulf Shores Plantation.  The Gulf Shores Plantation complex is a gated community with access granted to registered visitors and their guests only.   The complex is made up of six condominium complexes all under one management.  This means that visitors in our unit have full use of all amenities and recreation areas provided by all of the resorts in the complex.

Gulf Shores Plantation is located in the middle of the Fort Morgan Peninsular.  Fort Morgan Peninsular is a 21-mile strip of beach and wildlife preserve  that stretches part-way across the Mobile Bay (see picture on location page), dividing the Gulf of Mexico from Mobile Bay.  Gulf Shores Plantation is situated in the narrowest part on the peninsular;  from our condo balcony you can see both the ocean in on direction and the Mobile Bay in the other.
